Description:

The Nepal Mini Trek is an opportunity for those with only a short time to travel to experience the magnificence of the Nepalese mountain scenery. Its four day itinerary is an ideal addition to a longer stay in India and Nepal, and is also suitable for those with relatively little trekking experience, including families with children. The pace is relaxed and altitudes do not exceed 2500m, making it an enjoyable experience for anyone in reasonably good health.
01 KATHMANDU - BHAKTAPUR - NAGARKOT
We meet in Kathmandu and start the drive to Bhaktapur, where we commence trek. Beginning in the shady pine forests, we tour past the Changu Narayan Temple on the way. We walk ten kms over around four hours to Nagarkot (2020m), where we are rewarded with a stunning panoramic backdrop of the world's highest mountains, including Mt. Everest and Ganesh Himal. We camp overnight at Nagarkot.
02 NAGARKOT - CHOWKI BHANJIYANG
From our campsite at Nagarkot, the sunrise takes our breath away. After a rousing breakfast we begin the trek from here to Chowki Bhanjiyang, situated at an altitude of 2000m. Walking takes approximately five hours, passing small, traditional villages en route. On arrival here, our camp is waiting for us and we relax to take in an awesome sunset against the Himalayan backdrop.
03 CHOWKI BHANJIYANG - CHISAPANI
After another delicious breakfast, we start out to trek to Chisapani, approximately five hours walking. Chisapani is nestled peacefully at 2194m, and once again the views from here of the surrounding peaks are simply breath-taking. We take in our last spectacular orange sunset and enjoy our final dinner around the campfire.
04 CHISAPANI - SUNDARIJAL
Today we trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal, which takes around five hours. The trail runs for some time down a dramatic ridge with spectacular views, before descending into a lush valley fed by a reservoir. Here we arrive at Sundarijal to enjoy some lunch. Afterwards, we return to Kathmandu by car, a journey lasting two hours. On arrival, we transfer you to the airport or station for your onward journey, or to your hotel. Tour ends.
