01 DELHI - SRINAGAR
We transfer to the airport for the short morning flight to Srinagar. On arrival, we transfer to your luxury houseboat accommodation on the stunning Nagin lake. In the evening take a Shikara boat ride on the neighbouring Dal Lake to witness the sunset from among the beautiful lotus gardens.
02 SRINAGAR
After breakfast we head out for a tour of the world famous Mughal Gardens, visiting the Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love). We return to houseboat for hot lunch and head back onto the lake in the afternoon to enjoy the beauty that has led to this city often being compared to Venice. The Shikara will paddle you slowly around the watery markets, small bazaars floating together in a riotous fusion of colour, selling everything from fruit to Kashmiri saffron.
03 Srinagar - Manasbal Lake 5/6 Hrs
Water Safari starts from Dal Lake to Manasbal Lake. Drive in a special “SHIKARA” with two oars driving through the famous river Jhelum visiting ancient part of Hagen. And enter Mansbal Lake which is famous for water Lilies and Lotus flowers. Tonight we will be in the Garden of Manasbal Lake. Overnight in tents.
04 Manasbal Lake - Wular Lake 9/10 Hrs
This is the second largest Lake in Asia which is (19x22 Kms) and drive through ancient and picturesque Bandipur known as Fish Market. It is very important to cross the Lake when it is quite and calm. Arrive Watlab visit to the famous Muslim Shrine of Baba Shukar Din from where one can see the most magnificent view of the Lake. Camp at the bank of Wular Lake. Overnight in tents.
05 Wular Lake - Nageen Lake - Srinagar
Depart after breakfast to Dal Lake via River Jhelum which is one of the biggest river in the valley and on the way one can see wild birds at Anchar Lake which is known as “Birds watcher’s Paradise”. At the end of the tour cross Amarkhan Nallah and reach Nageen Lake and arrive Dal Lake in the evening.
06 Srinagar to Sonamarg
We take a full day excursion to Sonmarg, a beautiful hill station known as the gateway to Ladakh. A most beautiful drive from Srinagar, we watch the scenery change from the lush plenty of the valley to the thick, forested shade of the steep hillsides, to the clear open meadows of the alpine landscape. On the way we stop many times to gaze out at this untouched land. On reaching Sonmarg at 2690m, which is also called the Meadow of Gold, we enjoy a delicious lunch and the afternoon is free to enjoy this stunning hill resort. Take a ride on horseback to the nearby Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains round the year, or wander the superb surroundings with camera in hand, enjoying this haven of natural delight. We return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and rest.
07 Srinagar
We transfer to the airport or station for your onward journey. Tour ends.
Cost Include
Accommodation on a full-board basis. Please note that different standards of accommodation can be arranged. Return coach transfers from Srinagar. Ski equipment (not including ski clothing) and ski lift pass. All transfers and Sight seen tours by car, Jeep and Coach including pick-ups and drop-offs at airport or station.
